~ These pieces are a series of pieces designed to honor the life of Reuben; a Staffordshire Bull Terrier that stumbled into our family and forever changed us. He was the most benevolent creature throughout his entire life, which was filled with medical struggles because of his under developed immune system- a direct result of poor (or careless) breeding. All profits from this series will be donated in memory of Reuben, and will go towards individuals needing extra medical attention whether in the care of a rescue, a shelter, hospice caregiver, or family without the means to pay for treatments. In memory of Bunz; our silly, loud, uncoordinated, putting-everything-in-his-mouth, happy-go-lucky little buddy. We love you and miss you everyday. ~
A single Rutilated Quartz faceted teardrop met with five tiny faceted Sunstone rondelles makes for a very simple, but elegant design which dresses up or dresses down with ease. This necklace is available in both Vermeil fine chain as well as Sterling Silver fine chain.
Pictured at an overall length of 16.5 inches (41.91 cm), this necklace also is available in 17 inch and 18 inch lengths to suit the wearer. Bear in mind that the stones used are all genuine semiprecious gemstones, and they will be heavier in weight than a necklace made of plastic or resin. That being said, this particular necklace clocks in at a lightweight 0.1 ounces (2.834 grams).
**Please note that vintage findings may have slight discoloration or dark spots, which should be considered part of their unique character. Jewelry with raw brass findings will darken over time, but can be easily cleaned with vinegar or a brass polish.
